🎾 Padel was invented in Mexico in the 1960s by a man named Enrique Corcuera, who did not have the space to build a life-size tennis court in his garden. When he played with his friends on his little court the balls kept coming out. To solve this problem he then decided to build walls ranging from 3 to 4 meters around the track. Exit the tennis racket and place in a kind of wooden beach rackets. the Padel was born. Talk about creativity!

🎾 Padel is most often played in doubles, which means you get to share the fun (and the blame when you lose) with a partner! Plus, it’s a great way to bond with someone over a shared love of smashing balls.

🎾 Padel courts are smaller than traditional tennis courts, which makes the game more accessible to people who might find a full-sized tennis court a bit intimidating. It also means you have to be quick on your feet and always on the lookout for surprise shots!

🎾 Padel is extremely popular in Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries. The sport found its power as well in Scandinavia, and the Netherlands over the last two years.

🎾 Padel is a great way to exercise, have fun, and feel like a pro all at once. So grab a racket, find a court, and get ready to padel your way to victory (or at least a very good workout).
